CrossFit Didsbury: Gym Information

CrossFit Didsbury is proud to have an established sister site just around the corner: RxGym. This open, welcoming access gym provides a whole range of workout equipment for those looking to train on their own schedule, in addition to Semi-Private, Personal Training and Small Group classes! Our most popular memberships packages at CrossFit Didsbury include full access to RxGym, so you can enjoy working out in both locations, taking advantage of the range of opening times, class offerings and equipment types!

Intro to CrossFit session

Our intro to CrossFit session is where you’ll start. The intro class has been designed for everyone – If you have CrossFit experience or you are a beginner, we want to induct you into our facility. The Foundation class will give you the opportunity to spend dedicated time with a highly experienced coach within a small group setting.

CrossFit Programme

CrossFit is a constantly varied, functional movement at high-intensity. CrossFit is a sport and also a strength and conditioning programme. We use Weightlifting, Endurance and Gymnastics to provide you with amazing physical results. The coach is at hand to provide alternative movements (scaled up or down) if required. This method prevents injury and promotes individual progression.

Weightlifting

Our Olympic weightlifting class provides members with the opportunity to improve their lifting technique. The class includes lifts, Strength and Power drills to improve your overall CrossFit performance.

Gymnastics

Our Gymnastic sessions incorporate all forms of Gymnastic movements that will improve your CrossFit ability. The objective of our Gymnastic classes is for you to gain a new progression in each area. Each gymnastic class will focus on one gymnastic skill with scaled up or down movements. This class is for everyone.

Conditioning

CrossFit Conditioning is essential for any sport and generally refers to exercises that are meant to increase the storage and release of energy during a workout or activity. In CrossFit, you’ll need both to conquer your goals. This class is supported by one of our coaches. The session is essentially you turning up and getting the programme done.

Open Gym Time

Open Box time is where members can be responsible for their own training. These sessions are not coached, although there is a coach on hand to offer advice and keep an eye on safety! As a CrossFit Didsbury member you have two options for Open Gym sessions. Option 1: Use the Open Gym Time’s at CrossFit Didsbury. Option 2: Sign up to our CFD & Rx Membership and gain access to RxGym with a variety of different equipment any time of day.
